The mattress features a micro quilted finish – a process that sews the damask fabric to the surface layers, ensuring the fillings stay firmly in place. The core of the mattress consists of an hourglass shaped open coil spring system that39;s made up of rows of springs running from head to toe. Each row is connected by spiral wires, also known as helical wires, with a thick rod-edge wire surrounding the unit, adding strength to the border.
