The York mattress offers a medium support and is made up of a durable open coil spring system, layers of hypo-allergenic fillings and a resilient damask cover. Its hourglass shaped springs are set out in rows running from head to toe and connected into one single unit using a spiral wire at the top and bottom. To prevent border breakdown and add strength, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the outer springs.This ensures it retains its shape throughout its lifespan.
